XBMC Media Center is a media player jukebox (partially automated music-playing device) and entertainment hub for all your digital media. XBMC can play a complete range of multimedia formats, and offers play-list playback, audio visualizations, picture viewing, slideshows, and weather forecast functions, with a large number of third-party add-ons and plug-ins. The easy to use XBMC media center is an open source software (GPL) available for Linux, Mac OS X, Windows and Xbox game-console.
XBMC Media Center Features
- Fixed problem when pausing/seeking, which cause static or unpredictable behavior on some amplifiers

- Beta4 introduced a regression with Linux and Live users that led to broken or choppy playback
Note that anyone upgrading to RC1 on these platforms is advised to remove ~/.asoundrc, and create a new one if you had done so previously.
